Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an Open Edition and Limited Edition print?

Limited Edition means that there is a maximum number that will be sold and available to the public, making these prints very desirable for collectors and investors, especially if they are signed by the Artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The total number of prints that will be made available is shown for each print size in the price listing. E.g. (90 editions)  After all of the editions are sold, no additional prints will be created or released.

Open Edition means that there is no limit to the number of prints created and sold. As a result, the prices are typically more affordable for people.

What is the difference between Print size and Image size?

The print size is the dimension of the paper that your print is printed on, and the image is orientated horizontally or vertically to best fit the size. The image size is the dimension of the image itself on the paper. Because the image may have been cropped or resized at the time of photographing, it may not be the exact same proportional size as the print. In those cases, there will be some white border around the image which can be used incorporated or covered by your choice of framing and matte.

What is included with the prints?

Each Limited Edition Fine Art print comes with a  Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Artist, and a “Care and Feeding” information sheet to help ensure many years of enjoyment of your new piece.
