Coming from Calgary, our sunrises last a very long time. Here in the Bahamas, I am always startled at how fast they arrive then, in a blink, their rich light vanishes. I had waited for this one, though. The clouds had been building for a few days. I rarely see these cloud shapes in Alberta. Besides the rich colors, I love the cloud depth. The dark little clouds, untouched by the emerging light, seem closer, almost dangerous. There is a great sense of expanse, as if in this direction the sea and the sky go uninterrupted outwards forever.
Each limited edition print will come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
