Layla had never modelled before, her long slender body made her perfect for this approach to the pose. Surprisingly the session went very quickly, in an hour we had all we needed. This image started with a concept in mind. To be successful we needed a very pale skinned woman with the light blond hair. The approach is to explore tonality and mood, all in the same “stream”. That is the warm limited tonal palette matches the warm reflective mood. A bit of symbolism to, she is a woman who lives on the edge, barely in the light, but knows where the line is.
